Graeme Murray was born and raised in the Town of Gravenhurst, Muskoka, Ontario. Paraplegic at a young age, Graeme worked very hard to involve himself in the activities of his peers. From water skiing, soccer, camping, basketball to hockey Graeme did what he could to stay active and involved.

Because of his passion for an active lifestyle Graeme found talent and success in Sledge Hockey. For 16 years Graeme represented Canada with the Men's National Sledge Hockey Team.  Among his achievements include, a Paralympic Gold and Bronze, two World Championships and countless awards and tournament accolades.

While representing Canada Graeme kept Gravenhurst in his heart and takes every opportunity to give back to the community that raised him.

The product of his passion for an active lifestyle and his connection to Gravenhurst is the ACCOMPLISH TODAY FUND FOR SPORT.

Simply put, the ACCOMPLISH TODAY FUND FOR SPORT provides grants for youth with disabilities to attend a overnight multisport camps in Gravenhurst. These camps allow campers to participate in sports where they may not have opportunities to at home due to availability or finances.
